About our Child Protection Policies
All adults, over the age of 18, who work in ministry to children, youth, and vulnerable adults of St. Jean Vianney Parish and School are required to go through a background check process and Child Protection Training. Requirements vary according to the ministry.

DIRECTIONS FOR COMPLETING CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING
Thank you for volunteering at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church in your ministry.
Below you will find the instructions for completing the required Child Protection volunteer coursework from the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge. This is for everyone that is working with children 18 years and older and/or vulnerable adults in our parish.
Once a year, you will be asked to re-sign the Diocesan Code of Ethics.
No one is allowed to volunteer until the volunteer coursework has been completed and submitted to psr@stjeanvianney.org or brought to the church office.
